Who would like a LiDAR MOOC?

Would you like to see an online distance learning course for LiDAR?

services squareCarbomap and Iain Woodhouse (The University of Edinburgh) are considering doing a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course) on airborne laser scanning (lidar remote sensing).  It would cover forest mapping, topographic mapping and bathymetry.  It would be created within the University of Edinburgh, but would tap into the technical expertise and insider knowledge of the Carbomap technical team (who not only know lidar, but also created our 3D Christmas card this year), and the visual-learning skills of Prof Woodhouse (who created intro2radar, the animated learning tool for imaging radar).

The key question is “Is there a demand?”  Vote below and encourage us to do it!!
